Please note that this site is only for MOUNTAINDALE WEST DAY CAMP.

All other Girl Scouts camp registrations are not linked to our camp. If you register for our camp, any money you pay is not transferable. If you registered for the wrong camp, you will need to contact our Registrar to cancel your registration with our camp. You will then need to contact the other camp for their registration information.

Registrations are accepted only between February 29, 2012 through April 4, 2012. This is the only time frame for online or paper registration processing. Early and late registrations will not be accepted.

All Girl Scouts MEMBERSHIP (this is not camp registration) paperwork must be the original paperwork with a signature and needs to be mailed. No faxed, photocopied or scanned memberships will be accepted. The membership fee is $12.00. This fee, can be paid online during the registration process or a check needs to be sent in along with the membership paperwork to the camp Registrar.

REMEMBER, all unit registration questions are based on THE GRADE THE CHILD IS GOING INTO in the FALL of 2012. DO NOT use the current grade level for unit choices.

We are a lottery camp (the lottery policy can be found via the link on the left). This means that all camper registrations are given an equal chance of being drawn to come to camp. It does not matter if you register on the first day or last day of our registration window, it only matters that your registration is on time and before the close of registration. A camp wide lottery was applied to all campers for the 2011 camp year.

Registration Deadline

Registration must be received on or before 6 PM on April 4, 2012 (Not postmarked). We do not accept late camper registrations. We highly encourage online registration. The online system is quick and more complete than the paper version. If you choose to do a paper registration, you must contact the camp Registrar for needed forms and paperwork. There is a $15.00 processing fee applied to each paper registration (this fee applies to all paper camp registrations NOT to the Girl Scout Membership form, the PA application or the PA references).

Once you have completed the online registration, you will be placed on a wait-list for camp. This wait-list is subject to the lottery and once the lottery is run, you will receive an e-mail with the lottery results. Please make sure that the email you are using remains valid throughout the camp season. You MUST make sure that the email you are using will accept mass emails. E-mailing is the main method of communication with registered families. If your email bounces back, we cannot send another individual email.

Remember, your e-mail confirmation about registration is the only receipt you will receive. We can not duplicate the confirmation e-mail. Please keep a copy of the e-mail for your personal records.

Campers and PAs with incomplete registrations by April 4, 2012 will not be considered as a complete registration and be placed on the incomplete paperwork wait-list. Individuals on the incomplete paperwork wait-list will only considered if the lottery is not applied.

After the lottery and all training sessions and unit planning have taken place, a camp letter with general camp information and a postcard will be sent one (1) to three (3) weeks prior to the start of camp. These will be separate mailings. The letter will have general information and the postcard will have the camper’s individual unit assignment, adult unit leaders names, unit PA names and needed camp information.

You can guarantee your child a place in camp by becoming a full-time volunteer at camp.

Online Registration

We use Active Network, a web-based database company, for secure online registration. This is a Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington approved online company.

If you have limited internet access, and cannot go to a library or use a friend's internet, please contact our Registrar for your registration options.

Payment Methods

Full payment is required when registering a camper and must be made and processed before any credits (cookie or nut) can be applied.
Volunteers and their campers will be waitlisted until all needed paperwork and membership verifications are completed. Once it is verified, volunteers and their campers will be placed into camp. This will allow us to set the number of units we can run and the number of campers of non-volunteers that we can accept.

Cookie and Nut Credits

Did you earn a cookie credit or a nut credit? Did you know that you can use your credits to help pay for camp? Please be sure that your credit has not expired because you can only use current (not expired) credits.

Cookie/Nut credits will only be accepted, by our camp, from February 29, 2012 through July 20, 2012. The credits received after July 20, 2012 will not be processed and will be returned to the camper.

To apply a cookie or nut credit to the camp fees, you must first register the camper, have the camper accepted into camp and pay the full registration fee for that camper.

Please send the cookie/nut credit card to the camp Registrar. Include a slip of paper that has the campers name, the amount of credit on the card and what amount of the card balance you would like to apply towards the camp fee.

Once camp registration has closed and the lottery has been completed (if needed), the credit will be validated through the Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington and then applied toward your registration fee. A check for the cookie/nut credit amount will be mailed to you once this process has been completed.
Please note – this process could take 1-2 months; depending on our ability to validate the credit.

Send cookie credits to the registrar at the address below.
